With each of her releases, Berlin-based experimenter Lucrecia Dalt unbolts a new sonic door. She is led by assorted references, informed curiosity (the same which has led her to embark on many cross-disciplinary collaborations), and her own avant-garde impulses. This October's '¡Ay!' - her eighth solo release -, sees her unraveling yet another world. On it, the sound artist and performer draws inspiration from her upbringing in Columbia. Beautifully, she evokes native places and environmental tuning. Entangling time and topography, Dalt returns to where she started, but, this time, changed - just like the mark of any good story.
